Identify the installed systems and assets

List the BMS platform, operator interface and connected asset groups relevant to the role, such as air-handling units, chilled-water equipment, pumps, lighting controls or metering. State which systems are monitored only and which may be adjusted under employer authorization.

Any credential, licence, access right or platform training should be verified through the applicable authorized process for the assignment.

Specify reporting and escalation

Define daily or shift reports, energy or exception summaries, alarm logs, outstanding faults and work-order references. Name the facilities, HVAC, electrical and controls contacts who receive each type of escalation.

The technician should not close an alarm or override a condition outside the documented authority given by the employer.
