01
Define the formwork package before the carpenter roster
Shuttering and formwork describe the temporary mould arrangements used for concrete work; they belong to one employer brief here. Distinguish these tasks from decorative joinery, furniture making and finished timber installation. State whether the assignment concerns wall or column panels, beam and slab formwork, an approved proprietary system or a timber-based arrangement. The same trade title does not establish experience with every system.
List the work area and assigned duties: component identification, preparation, assembly support, approved setting-out references, checks requested by the supervisor and controlled removal tasks where authorised. Keep engineering design, changes to the support arrangement, lifting decisions and acceptance of the completed formwork with the explicitly responsible parties. This page is a staffing guide, not a design or construction-method instruction.
02
Ask for evidence tied to the actual formwork system
The contractor should define the experience that matters: familiar panel or timber systems, reading the relevant approved details, recognising components, communicating work-area questions and following the site inspection process. Record the requested skill level separately for carpenters, helpers and a working foreman. Describe any language or reporting requirement needed for the actual crew rather than assuming it from nationality.
Agree who reviews candidate evidence and who observes a safe, controlled task assessment. A reviewed reference, system-specific discussion or employer-approved sample may help that decision, but a general construction CV alone is insufficient. Record the assessment date, tasks observed, acceptance criteria and checks still pending. Selection does not confer design authority, equipment permission or approval to work without supervision.
03
Plan a Jeddah building workfront, not a city-wide headcount
Prepare separate allocations for the structural zones your programme has actually released. A building requirement might distinguish foundations, vertical concrete elements and later floor areas; an alteration project may require different access and protection of nearby activities. Identify the relevant system, available materials, current drawings and predecessor work for each allocation. These examples describe employer planning choices, not AL AHAD GROUP projects or confirmed service coverage.
For a Jeddah site, include the actual gate and delivery arrangements, travel reporting point, welfare provision and working hours approved for that project. Where materials share an aisle with other trades, name the person who coordinates access. Do not derive crew size from the city name or floor area alone: use measured work, the chosen system and the contractor’s observed productivity assumptions.
04
Separate carpentry, support engineering and trade interfaces
Identify the formwork supervisor, engineering reviewer, inspection owner and person who releases the area for the next activity. Show reinforcement and concrete-work interfaces in the schedule, including the decision owner for unresolved openings, embedded items or drawing queries. The carpenter roster should not silently include steel fixing, concrete placement, lifting supervision or scaffold inspection.
Helpers need defined handling, preparation and housekeeping duties under the relevant supervisor. If a foreman is required, specify crew coordination, reporting and defect escalation separately from skilled-worker quantities. Confirm who supplies the approved instructions and who signs acceptance records. Pause an allocation that lacks an authorised work area or a resolved instruction instead of using extra headcount to mask the dependency.
05
Compare monthly, temporary and project requirements on the same scope
State the number of carpenters, helpers and foremen per shift, expected assignment duration and any phased increases or reductions. A short allocation to one released area differs from a continuing monthly roster across successive pours. Give each proposal the same scope and working-time assumptions so the employer can understand what a quoted arrangement covers.
Distinguish a request for supplied labour from a subcontract that delivers an accepted work package. Record attendance approval, site supervision, overtime authorisation, measurement and variation responsibilities. Monthly, temporary and project-based arrangements must be confirmed for the actual enquiry; this guide establishes no availability, price, minimum term or worker stock. Request a written response before treating an arrangement as accepted.
06
Make the AL AHAD GROUP enquiry useful to the contractor
Send a formwork-specific role schedule rather than an unspecified request for construction workers. State the system, released work areas, desired skill levels, candidate-review owner and supervision boundaries. A clear brief lets the employer compare any response against the same tasks and identify where further evidence or clarification is required.
Ask the responding contracting entity to confirm the relevant offered service, trade capability, applicable authority and any dated experience evidence it is permitted to share. Match the evidence to the formwork requirement rather than relying on a general project list. Coordination benefits come from named responsibility and an agreed brief; this page does not establish company experience, client relationships or a confirmed deployment.
07
Review six joining dependencies before requesting a date
First submit the work-area and role brief. Next review any availability response and candidate selection evidence. Then complete the responsible parties’ document checks, obtain employer approval, confirm access and induction, and coordinate the joining plan with the receiving supervisor. Track unfinished checks against the relevant person instead of assigning one assumed date to every stage.
The employer’s target start is a planning input. Ask for an estimate after the crew, approved terms, documents, material readiness and available workfront are reviewed. Record what the estimate depends on and who communicates a change. Neither a quotation request nor acceptance of a CV confirms mobilisation; no fixed deployment or replacement interval is published here.
08
Assign document checks and keep personal records off the public form
Identify who checks a valid Iqama where applicable, work authorisation, the relevant Ajeer arrangement where required, medical-insurance coverage, trade evidence and safety certifications requested for the assignment. The responsible establishments must review the current official service conditions for the actual arrangement. A monthly label or formwork trade title alone does not determine the applicable permit route.
Keep client-specific access records, induction evidence and any task authorisations distinct from candidate competence. Record the check owner, evidence status and renewal or review date where relevant. The public enquiry is for the employer’s work brief: do not upload passports, residence-document copies, medical records or other worker personal documents. Exchange necessary records only through the agreed secure verification channel.
09
Allocate FAT, tools and formwork-system responsibilities in writing
Specify food, accommodation and transportation responsibilities alongside working hours, rest-day assumptions, reporting point and shift travel. Separately allocate PPE, hand tools, consumables and the formwork system itself, including component supply, storage, control and return. Supplying a carpenter should not be interpreted as including proprietary panels, engineered supports, lifting equipment or a completed concrete package.
Use a written quotation to record the agreed scope, duration, headcount changes, attendance approval and any requested overtime or replacement process. Describe a replacement request by the affected task and required competence; do not assume a free replacement or fixed response interval. Prices, inclusions and contractual commitments remain matters for the actual response and agreement.
10
Request a formwork manpower quotation
Prepare company and contact details, the Jeddah worksite, formwork system, role quantities by shift, duration, target start and the supervisor responsible for acceptance. Add the released work areas, essential experience, assessment approach and FAT/tools allocation. A scope sheet can summarise the employer requirement without personal worker records.
Use the construction employer enquiry route to submit this brief for review. The request goes to alahad.group.pakistan@gmail.com. A response should clarify the proposed arrangement, outstanding checks and written terms; submission does not reserve workers or confirm a start date.
